Hey guys I drive a 2003 automatic protege 3. Been having a problem where my cylinder appears to crush my spark plug? It’s in I believe cylinder 4. So what happens is all the sudden it feels like a tranny slip sort of and just continues in like that often making a noise. So my brother in law just opens it up takes the spark plug out gets the pieces of metal that were in there out and it was good for a couple years, now it’s done it twice with relative frequency. Any idea how i can lower the frequency of this happening until I can get a new car?
