Does the cooling fan work?
Does the thermostat work?
Does the radiator cap work?
Does the water pump work?
How old & strong is the coolant?
How clean is the coolant?

What is telling you its overheating? Gauge? Steam?

Is the radiator clean & not blocked? internally & externally.

Get the system pressure tested for leaks.

Carry out a Tee Kay test. ( combustion gas analyser )

Yes fan works not sure bout thermostat radiator cap yes works not sure bout water pump brand new coolant fairly clean tas well the gauge is what indicated and it started steaming once I stopped immediately haven't really drove since radiator does have rust in it and it looks nasty
