Default window controls from drivers door

I have a 2006 Mazda6 4 door 4 cyl with auto window controls. From the drivers door I can work the front 2 windows normally and the auto works also. The problem is the 2 switchesfor the rear windows. They feel like they have no 'spring' , they kind of flop up and flop down - they do not feel the same as the 2 for the front windows. But they do not work either window, but the control on the rear doors do work the window. I just bought this car and just noticed it.

Rx, part of the problem is that the switches are not returning to the rest position. This tells me that the problem goes a bit deeper than a simple reset will fix. Sounds to me like the part will need to be replaced.
