Default whats the trick

hey whats up i have a 2005 mazda 6 the parking bulb went out on the passenger side. what is the best way to get at that to change it? probably somthing simple im just not seeing it.

Is this the lamp on the bumper, or in the headlamp?

its in the headlamp itself right above the headlight bulb

Oh ok. you remove the dust cover for the high beam lamp, & the socket that holds the bulb is accessible. You have to turn the socket , & then it can come out. To put it bac in, it takes a little playing around with.

thanks i have not got to it yet but what do you mean by dust cover. is that the clear lens in front or is it in the back somewhere

It is the black rectangular cover behind the headlamp that has to be removed before you can access that socket.

thanks a bunch i finally got it! broke the clips on the cover but it still goes back on good enough to stop the dust. next time i have to change a bulb im gonna hire a hamster to get in those tight spots.
