What's the fourth light for?
I have the 6 i standard model...what light does the empty middle use. I notice the wiring is there...would the light operate if the bulb and socket were installed? I was thinking of putting daylight running lights into the foglight lower grill area. And wondered if these empty sockets could be used for that...or anything. I just put 4 high powered bulbs in the hi and low beams..my hands still hurt!

Well I do not know what it's called, but on my 6 S when i turn the light switch one click, I think that 4th light emits just a hint of light.
BTW: Where can I find out how to install new bulbs into my headlights. I tried to figure it out myself but I just couldnt get into the headlights.

i've noticed that too about the 4th light... wonder if there is a real purpose to it or to just make the headlights seem more fuller when you look at them.

so they are not compatible for daytime lights , but could be used for fog lights though

to find out where to install , go to Mazda dealer and get schematics copies of the blown-up headlight , or order on Ebay a workshop manual on CD-Rom ..... first look in your owner's manual supplied with the car ..... it's amazing what insignificant things you can learn in it

that would be it's secondary designed purpose .... first it's a parking lamp , isn't it or is it second

I was going to go test out that fourth light...but it comes out that the retards fixing my window tint had my car ALL day today and they havn't fixed it. So they finally call after they have my car for 9 hours and say they need to wait till they get a lighter tint in so it matches the rest of the car. What a joke..I miss my car [sm=smiley19.gif]
