Hi im new to this forum. I recently purchased a used 2003 Mazda 6s with 40k. Everything seems good execpt when starting the car. After the engine turns over it follows with a weird sound like a turbine spinning. Basically sounds like varoom and then a pshzzzz it only last as long as a second. Kinda weird never heard this before, what can this sound be? Anyone heard this before? I can use any help diagnosing this issue.

its actuly the starter bendex but u replace the hole starter

 

Yep, more than likely the starter. Clutch dust gets into the starter & then it makes that sound when starting the car.
