I have grown a bit bored of my current setup and I think a single exit exhaust would look good on the 3rd Gen Mazda 6 (I have the Corksport Axleback Exhaust + Vibrant Resonator). What do you guys think about a single exit exhaust, any downsides to going this way?

 

The factory system is very well tuned; pretty much any change will most likely result in a reduction in power.

 

I never really thought about that aspect, I guess I've lost some power with my Corksport setup.

 

In certain RPM ranges, probably. Typically aftermarket intakes sacrifice a bit of mid-range torque for high-end power.

 

According to the dyno chart, I lost a bit torque at 2-3k. The sacrifice for a nicer exhaust note LOL I'm wondering how a single exit would affect the power.
