Default Throttle plate mod imput?

I was looking at the forums and saw a modification of the mazda 6 throttle plate. The plate was cut inbetween the screws and the screws were counter sunk. This was supposed to allow 22% more airflow through that area by reducing obstruction in the air path. Has anyone done this to the 6 throttle plate and what if any, were the throttle response increases. Thanks.....

Opps, well it was a 2.3L TB plate mod, but the guy also sells modified TB's too. Here's a link to the other post. I'm thinking about doing this mod and wondered if anyone else here has done this to thier 3.0L plate and if it really helped.
