Default Throttle Body?????

I have an 03 6i w/ 154K on it I am the original owner and have done no mods. Recently my car started acting weird, while driving on the highway i noticed the RPM's kept jumping a bit so I put it in neutral and it was jumping sporatically from 2500-3000 RPM. So i exited and when slowing down, the car just wanted to go (hard to stay stopped at a light cause the RPMs jump from 1000-1700 or so while stopped) I managed to make it to a parking lot and shut it off. Upon startup the problem goes away temporarily (usually starts again while I am on the highway and acts up until I turn it off and then back on). I have talked to the dealer and they think I need to replace the throttle body, cause its a drive by wire throttle body w/ the TPS and IAC integrated. We seem to be thinking the TPS is bad. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

it's actually somewhat common, though i thought it was more on the v6 side. some people have seen it under the 20k mark. i don't think there was a TSB for it, but might be worth a look. i think they still have them somewhat updated over on mazda6tech.com
