I have an 04 wagon with the same problem. I recently took it to the dealer and they claim it is some type of cover for the front suspension, more specifically the coils. If you still have the warranty coverage go in and have them check that out. The mechanic found it on one of their TSB's. I am waiting for them to get the part in to see if it actually resolves the issue. I saw another thread with a similar issue.

If you don't rotate your tires, they can wear into patterns and it could feel as you described. The tires would be feathered (slightly taller at the front of the tread block than the back). My wife wore out the 18's on her car and it felt like that. New tires...problem gone.
