Default Squeaking Noise from Driver's Seat

Has anyone else exprienced this? I was getting these anoying noises from the driver's seat every time I drove over the slightest bump in the road. The problem has been "solved" by changing the way I had the seat adjusted. Is this normal? Are some seat adjustments more prone to noises than others?

In my case, it seems to be less of an issue now. Perhaps I've just gotten used to it, but I've read other forms where people have had similar promblems with other makes. In many cases, the only real fix was to replace the seat and I doubt that's covered under warranty.

Argh! My 6 has been doing this since it had around 9,000 miles on it... the squeak seems to come from the left front attach bolt. Two dealers have lubricated the bolt -- both appeared to be familiar with the complaint -- and in each case, it helped temporarily, but the squeak always comes back.

I've learned to live with it.
