Then it wasn't STOCK then,That would make a difference in the discussion at hand huh? My comments were based on the cars not having those types of mods. Thanks for clarifying.

damn you guys are nuts....theres never enough open road here to get that fast....the fastest ive ever gone is 140km/h ish on the highway, and 160km/h top speed in my parents truck that has now gone to a better place....the junk yard....
but i have 3 points on my license.....so i really dont want a 100km/h over the limit ticket.....i really dont think my parents would be too pleased...seeing how they're paying my lease right now....

I apologize to you then "MrTea" as I didn't read that far back and was just sharing my own experiences since I have 2 6's and one of each motor. I have had to do alot of catching up on the forums after that little stunt your fellow moderators pulled on me on mazda6club which appears to be permanent. I lost sales of the mods I had listed on that site too over someones petty powertrip. Just because you may not agree with someone doesn't mean you ban them into outerspace(an example) since I thought this was still America and we were SUPPOSED to have Freedom of Speech. I had members messaging me about my mods for sale and not only could I not check the messages,I couldn't even find another way to contact them so I lost money because of it too. Oh well, the people on this site are generally nicer anyway so i will just tell people to join this one anyway now!
Sorry for not knowing what you had wrote "20 posts ago" but I get very little time each day to visit all the sites, check e-mail,etc since I have a family to take care of.

before i had the turbo, it took a while to hit 120 which makes it harder to do obviously. since the turbo though, when i drop a gear to pass someone in the fast lane, i'm over 100 by the time i'm at thier front bumper. It's the same thing on the bike, i've gotten to 155, but that's a quick 10 sec spin. i have a clean driving record, which i give much credit to getting into open track racing where i get much of my fix now, helps a lot! at 145 the cf hood (especially since i wasn't running a grill) was wobbling a bit.

As far as not catching the earlier post, it happens. i'm not around here much, so i had to double check to make sure it was the same thread i was thinking of as well.

Have you checked out Chris's 6 lately? Kit?
He just got a TWIN-TURBO put in right before he showed it at Importfest in Canada a few weeks ago. He also repainted it too since everyone was familiar with the old paint job since it was in magazines, etc. He is also a member of Team Allstars.

he's had the twins for almost 2 years now??? and the 2-tone paint has been on for a good 6 months now at least i thought??? maybe i got the wrong car, but there aren't many twin setups, so i don't think so. i met him at SEMA '05, just before he got all the CF done inside. still no tuning for him though at last count, holding out for the microtech still.

Actually,The paint got done a few months ago and the engine was still in pieces at SEMA this year which is why he didn't have it there even though there were 10 Team Allstars Vehicles at SEMA this year.(He was with us the whole time at SEMA this year)The Car isn't fully tuned yet and he just e-mailed me this afternoon and was telling me to get the Hi-Boost for my car. His are Turbonetics.
Here is a little from the last e-mial I got from Chris :
"I have a lot of plans for the car over the next month and a half, which is when my car will be presented at the Philadelphia International Auto Show, February 3-11th, 2007. Some of my plans include: painting the engine bay, finalizing the exhaust, reworking and adding some LED lighting to the interior and exterior of the car, complete the trunk lid with a 15" monitor and component speakers, tune the system, repaint some of the interior pieces, new vinyl work around the car, and a few other items will be added to the car before the beginning of February."
We are all SUPPOSED to be out there in San Diego on the 26th for the Ultimate Ridez Expo (Extreme Auto Fest) at the San Diego International Auto Show but I'm not sure who all from the Team will make it and when yet. We were ALL asked to bring cars for it,but mine is already in getting more mods right now anyway and I'm shooting for Spring before I show it anymore.
I have some pics ofChris's carfrom importfest in Canada too if you are interested:

I hosted the pics through my C.D. site but they aren't actually posted there.

he's got a cardomain page as well with some other pics. i think the interior is the most impressive parts.

...but that has nothing to do with the limiter at all. i don't think he's gotten close to the limiter in a long, long time with his setup.
