Default RE: Speed governer

For Mazda 3 owners, I wanted to clarify that Haltech will not work with their cars. I have a 2005 Mazda 3 2.3L. Here is what I just received from their US technical support:

"Currently Haltech does not support the Mazda3 due to its electronic throttle body and direct injection fuelling."

Is anybody aware of ANY proven case of removing the Mazda 3 speed limiter in ANY way (including through ECU replacement)?

your best bet would to send it to jetchip or to reflash the ecu. either way the limiter will be taken off.

How fast have you pushed your 3 or 6??
The engine starts to seize because the governor cuts it at about 110 I pushed it but it really didn’t wanna go any faster so it felt like I was hitting the rev limiter
