Default Side Flashers

there exists the ones that are on the mirrors and the more common ones on the fenders .

Esthetic-wise some are nice , but safety-wise it becomes a must , I find .

As for the mirror ones , I have seen a thread for parts that I can't find no more where it fitted over the mirrors as a whole shell (flasher integrated) . It looked somewhat like the Acura TSX's mirrors .

If I choose to go with fender flashers ; I have to perforate the fender sheet metal . This brings the issue of rust appearing eventually . I would like to know what professional compound that I could apply to seal out the rust from the exposed sheet metal of the fender , permanently forever !!! Any tips on drilling/perforating procedure would be appreciated also .
