safety speed limit on the highway
I have the mazda 6 2007.
How do I know on the highway what is my limit in the highway curves ? Lets say in a light to moderate curve, if i am doing 160 - 200 km/h with the gas floored, what could happen ? I could run into oversteer ? Or the traction is supposed to prevent that, although if I did run into oversteer at that speed, am I a goner ?

You drive a Mazda 6 not an rx-8, your car is front wheel drive and is a good amount less likely to oversteer.
Drive your car more and figure out how it handles in different curves. You should be able to feel it either turning too much or not enough.
A driver's guide to oversteer
Please for the safety of yourself and OTHERS, keep the fast driving where it belongs.... on the track.

I believe the Mazda 6 has understeer. Front wheels will grip first.
This means you'll see the ditch!
Pick a favorite circular on or off ramp. Start @ 70 km/hr and increase by 5 km each time. Make sure your tires are good on pressure (35 psi is real good, 32 psi as per Mazda sucks).
If it says 60 km/hr and you can do 60 mph then you are lucky.
Going over speed limit is looking for trouble. In Canada, when you go 50 km/hr over speed limit you could lose your licence.
