Default Ratting in the front end?

I don't post too often but do frequently read the forums and was looking for some advice.

My car(2006 Mazda 6) was roughly 6 months ago ALMOST in a crash. Someone at 11 at night had broken down at a traffic light and not left their warning lights on so I swerved to avoid them and hit a curb with my front end very slightly. My car more so leaped this curb than hit it. Note the curb was roughly 6 inches tall. After this my I had my wheels inspected and they were dent free, I figured I had bad belts inside the front tires(explanation of sound will tell why) so I got 2 new/used tires for my front end. Ever since my car even with said new tires has whenever accelerating/deaccelerating made a wobble or rattle type noise. Whenever I brake it's as if my car is lightly thrusting and whenever I accelerate there is not really a thrust though you hear the car's front end on every tire rotation as if there's a warp of some sort. I have retightened the wheels and a friend jacked up my car and said there's a little play in my wheel barrings but they are perfectly fine. However he's not had the time to test drive it so he assumes nothing is wrong regardless of my questions.

Long story short I was wondering if anyone has any insight on what this may be causing my car to be so audible when accelerating. It has been roughly 4 months of this noise and i'm now noticing the speedometer is off by 3 mph which it was not merely 2 months ago.

All answers posted are appreciated and I hope some of you more mechanically inclined people can help me solve this problem as I worry about my own safety of driving the car at this point. And if you ever have computer questions I will save you a world of headaches/costs =)

2 other things I think it could be but mere guesses, CV joints or warped rotors.
