13,000 miles on it? That's usually a red flag on a 2 year old car. As for the price, I just leased a 2006 Mazda 6 i Grand Sport (which is fully loaded, leather, Bose, 6 CD Changer, moonroof, etc), but if I bought it, the dealer was going to sell it to me for $22K, if I wanted the 6 cyl Grand Sport, he wanted 24K, $17K seems high for a used 2004 without leather.

I just bought a brand new 2006 mazda6 i, no leather, sunroof or bose package. I paid $16k, so what you paid sounds about right to me. And I really dont think 13,000 miles is bad being that its 2yrs old. Most people put that on a car in year. All in all i think you got a great deal! Youll love the car, i know i love mine. So, congrats and enjoy it!

well around where i live about a few months ago you could have gotten 05 models for around 15-19 k because they were on sale brand new from the dealer..they were making space for the 06 models...

Yeah, I agree with kreemarie. The 13k mileage on it isn't a red flag. A lot of corporate offices lease the Mazda 6's for their employees to use for work. Which is what my car was. Maybe the orevious owner was an older person that didn't use it much. Or maybe the prev. owner was smart about keeping the mileage low on their vehicle for either the lease purpose, or for the resale value. There's many different explanations for that.

But nyinthabuilding...I think you got a pretty damn good price.
