I recently bought a brand new 2005 Mazda 6s, not even 2000 miles on it yet. It shuts off while in idle or when i'm doing a quick u-turn. I took it to the Mazda Service Center and they ran it on the computer and everything came up okay. The mechanic loosened a vaccuum hose that was on a little too tight from the factory. He even took it for a test drive. After that day it shut off on me again! while doing a u-turn. Seems to always happen when I have my foot on the brake. Has anyone out there experience anything like this?? If so I need your help! I've been going crazy trying to figure out what the problem is!

 

no check engine light at all? maybe scan to see if anything is pending, though i think the dealer would do that. there is an issue with the TB on the V6, but it throws a light.

 

did u ever get 2 the bottom of this??? This just happened to my whip, '04 M 6i
