Default Please help! 2003 atenza issue

Hey guys, hopefully someone is able to help. I just bought a 2003 atenza 2l auto and theres an issue. During acceleration and under load it struggles abit and sometimes shudders abit. Overall it lacks power and isnt as smooth as it should be. Ive put new plugs in. The mechanic has tried new leads and ignition coil but still no luck. They said they checked air flow meter and electrics and hoses. Next step they want to take injectors out and test, not sure about this. Any ideas?

How many kms/miles?
Have you had a code check?
Remove & inspect the cat.
Get a fuel pressure check done at the fuel rail.

Has the fuel filter ever been replaced? If not, at that mileage I would replace the entire pump & fuel assembly. ( In-tank )

I'd be doing alot more than that. Yes the cats could be an issue.
Coolant and sensor and thermostat.
Plugs and ignition coils
clean: MAF, EGR, Throttle body, fuel system cleaner
PCV valve and hose as I AM SURE MAZDA NEVER CHANGED IT.
Intake hose checked for cracks.
Tranny fluid....
