PCP Mazda 6 lost key - do I have to use the dealer?
Hi All,
I have a 2017 Mazda 6 and have managed to lose one of the two key fobs they gave us. If I get a replacement from them we're looking at about £350+ but I have done some research and you can buy the key fobs cheaply and have them cut/programmed by a local locksmith.
Do you know if this is something I'd get away with on a PCP car if we return it for a newer model? It's due to be replaced next year.

Personal Contract Plan. It's a leased car rather than owned. We have the option to pay a lump sum next year to keep it, or upgrade to a newer model. If we keep it having a shonky key won't be an issue, but if we give it back it might be!
