oil change
Hi,
I have never done an oil change with this cartridge type filter, anyone have any tips for it? I've heard not to do when the engine is warm, I understand why, but isn't it recommended? Also is there a special tool I need to open the canister and where could I buy one?

you don't have to make any changes to switch to synthetic and the first oil change should be at 1000 km. it is designed so that the first oil change is to break in the motor and the others are just routine maintenance.
i haven't changed a cartridge style, so i can't speak of the difference between the two.
