Well soon to be a 6s owner. Drove by the dealership today and the 6 caught my eye. Currently have a 2000 Lincoln LS v6 Manual. I dont think i'll be buying a new one, most likely a semi used or a demo, hes working out the pricing and is supposed to call me this weekend.

Is there any difference in years 03, 04, 05..
Is the BOSE sound package worth the money?

I have the 2005 and I love it. I was more impressed with the 6i (4 cyl.) than the V6 and I have heard that the manual transmission has a difficult clutch engage/disengage point and even experienced drivers can have a hard time with it at first. However the manual trans. can be about one full second faster on the 1/4 than the auto. I have the 4 speed auto/manual which I enjoy being able to choose between the two even while moving.

 

i'm definately getting one, I test drove a v6 manual, wasnt that much impressed.. Didnt compare to my civic what so ever power wise. (was heavily modded)

I may just go with an auto and safe the hassle of the sticky clutch.

Any specific options that I should look for or that you would recommend? What about the bose package.

The dealer has a v6s autostick fire red color/black interior 12k miles for 17k every appearance option, remote starter, alarm, moon roof

has a white/tan 6s 20k miles for 16k manual trans
and a black/black v6s manual for 16k

If you dont mind me asking why are you more impressed with the 6i (4cyl) over the v6. Isnt there quite a bit of noticeable power difference?
Which has the larger choice of performance mods, the i4 or the v6?
