Default New wheels for my M6

At the local custom shop in my city they have some 17" wheels that they say wil fit my 6. The name brand is "Boltex" however I can't seam to find any recored of this company making wheels, now they are about a year and a half old, they have them in stock but I would still imaginre that E-bay or google would have something or anything on them. They are gun metal grey and they said that b/c they have had them for over a year in their stock room, that I am looking at roughly $1,100 for the set and New tires to go with including balenceing and instillation. Any thought comment or answers would be appreciated. Thank you

First question... ALWAYS: What's the offset??? If it's less than +50, you are liable to have problems w/the 6.

Yeah I know thats why I wanted to look up the wheels online but nixt time I am down there I am going to ask, isn't the 6 an offset stock of 60? Thats what I read anyway, and I don't know much about wheels and all but what is that exactly and is there anything else I need to watch out for.

Offset is the difference between the centerlinhe of the wheel and the mounting surface. And yes, the 6 series is a +60mm, hard to get AM wheels for.

I've got a set of 18" RX-8 wheels I'm selling that look awesome on the 6 (had them on my wife's wagon)

$600 + shipping and they include the TPMS sensors.

Does the "+" mean that the mounting surface is 60 mm offset closer to the outside of the wheel?

Correct! As w/most FWD cars the offset is positive.

I've seen the TPMS abbreviation thrown around a few times, but I'm not sure what it stands for...my guess is tire pressure management/monitering system?

You've got it right: Tire Pressure Montering System.

What about these?
http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RPM2.html
the part # is 34388066HS
it is 18x8" and has an offset of 45.
What problems are lible to occur if the offset is not high enough?
