Default new speedsix

So whats the problem with the new car? This is mazda's new flagship and you guys are treating it like it's a pile of ****. I traded a subaru baja turbo for one a couple of weeks ago and I'll never go back. I think it's a really balanced car that a grown man who likes performance can easily live with. If you put on a set of winter tires it goes and stops great. This car corners and goes as hard as most people can handle in real world driving. Yes the sti and evo might be a bit faster but they are go karts compared to the speedsix.

Hey big boy , who you talking to like this ?

People are entitled to their opinions , and mine was as I recall , the looks of it .... so what ! Haven't tried it ; so that's what my comments are limited to . Even if it's the best this and best that , not in a million years would I want to be the owner of a car I can't look at ....

I think your words about it are a lot harsher than ours , owner you are . pff

I'm confused? Where were people talking smack on the speed6? I like the speed6 personally. Did I miss a thread somewhere?

hehe french fries. I like french fries. I think most people like the Mazdaspeed 6. But they are dissappointed. I mean. It looks basically the same to the stock 6. Just more aggressive styling. They added some more power and tweaked the handling. I believe there is alot more potential in this car. Maybe get more power. Now, if the Mazdaspeed 6 had around 400 horses, I think everyone would want one of these. Honestly if I had the money, I would mod my stock 6 by adding turbo and get a racing transmission . I still love the Mazdaspeed 6. Don't get me wrong. Everyone feel the same?

This is probably why he is getting all hot-headed about .
You can find all my perceptions , among others here : https://www.mazdaforum.com/m_6261/tm.htm

Personally , a Speed6 with a 6 cyl. boasting the same numbers in HP or more with all its meat under the car with a 6 speed tranny , minus the looks (add the 2003-2005 instead)

I agree with you mazda guy... I was disappointed. When i thought about mazdaspeed6, i was hoping for some impressive modifications to make the car stick out from the rest of the mazda6 lineup.

Now it is pretty decent, but we can easily do these modifications to our vehicles with a turbo an a lowering suspenstion... thats not too difficult to do. The looks were also disappointing, I was hoping for something that might stick out a little more from the typical mazda 6 body. I'm not exactly sure what, but just something different.

yeah. Yeah it would be cheaper to mod a 6 yourself anyways. But it still is a nice piece. I don't think it lives up to the hype.
