New 2007 mazda 6 suppose to leak??
Just bought a basic new 2007 mazda 6 for great price of 16,500. the problem is that I am really confused with exhaust part of the car. after driving it today, i noticed that both dual exhausts leakwater like liquidnot from thetip of themuffler, but from two holes thatseem to be drilled in the exhaust pipes. really worried because it leaks like crazy during and after a drive.i ivestigated by looking at other6's and i did see the2holes in the other cars. So now i dont know if that is the way theexhaust is built or ifit is somethingto bring the car back for. right now i think thatthe holesrthere to act as a drainage, but unsure. plz help verry confused. is this normalr the 6's built like this??never seen this on a car before. Thank u guys for ur help really worried[&:]
They are there because obviously condensation builds up and the holes are there to let the water out so it doesn't stay in and rust out the exhuast so you do in fact want the water to "leak" out...
Well thank u very much I just have never seen this kind of drainage on any other kind of car.
I have another question about the miles on the car.[&:]the car had about 90 miles on it(brand new, not used). does that seem tooo much 4 any one???? i m some whatworried.
Depending on how long it was sitting on the lot, it could've had a number of test drivers. Some dealerships offer the interested individual to take it home for the day or weekend to test drive it. Ninety miles isn't a lot. Some people like to spend some time test driving the car as well. I put on about 20 miles on my test drive.
