Good afternoon, new member here. I have a 2021 6 Carbon Edition 2.5T. I was thinking about swapping the intake and boost tube to silicone and with a cone filter. Ive heard it can add 15+ horsepower as the article said the engine responds well to mods even without a tune. Has anyone done this and what were your findings?

 

It will make your engine sound better (a personal preference)...it will not gain you any power increase in fact it may actually in some engine operating condition lower your power output.
Follow the inform of the article better yet post the http and I will read and ,likely debunk the material!
For one main reason the ECU is not AI and only has very small adaptive capabilities the least is adaptive to mods by way of changing to sop called performance upgrade performance parts.


Verified with any OBDII scanner opening and watching IAT, timing, CAT temps, knock values,etc., and a few other monitoring engine operations.
