Mazda Atenza Wagon (1st Gen) Wing Mirrors
Hi Guys,
I have a 2nd gen Mazda Atenza Wagon (GY). Has aftermarket wing mirrors and failed WOF due to one set of wing mirror indicators not working.
Replacing with OEM wing mirrors, to stop any future problems.
Noticed my OEM wing mirror plug from OEM is 7 wire.
My understanding is 6 wire is heated and retractable, what is 7th wire for?

GY is 1st Gen
GH is 2nd Gen
GJ is 3rd Gen
GL is a face lift or the GJ platform.
GY can be pre facelift 2002 - 2005 or Facelift 2005 to 2007
GH can be pre facelift 2008 - 2010 or Facelift 2010 to 2012
Unfortunately my wiring diagram is for Australian & New Zealand domestic models & doesn't cover the Awesomeness of the Japanese imports.
I used to own a 2006 or 2007 Atenza Sports wagon.

Just an update:
I have installed the replacement wing mirrors - 7 wire is Heated (2 wires going into the back of the mirror glass, not sure what a 6 mirror wire does.
For some reason my OEM car wiring to wing mirror plug has 7 wires, but there doesn't seem to be wiring to the 7.5 Amp M.DEF (mirror defroster) fuse in the engine compartment
