Default Mazda 6 Ticking noise while accelerating

Hey guys,

ive got a 2008 Mazda Atenza 2.5l Automatic
im having a ticking noise coming from the car (Front right area of the car) as i accellerate. The faster i go the faster and louder the ticking noise is.

ive removed the wheel to See if something was stuck but ive found nothing. Checked under the car and everything seems to be fine.

can someone please help me identify what could be the issue? its driving me insane

thankyou.

Jack it up, spin the wheel as fast as you can while touching the back of the hub, does it feel rough and rumbly?

Also check the inner and outer CV joint boots and make sure they are not split open... (bad CV joint could click)

And with the car jacked up and trying to spin the wheel (looking for bad wheel bearings) grab the sides of the wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock and try to wiggle the wheel. If it is loose at all or feels rumbly/grinding when spinning, it is likely bad bearings.

Also could be something as simple as a brake shroud (do these cars have brake shrouds?) being bent a little and rubbing on a single point as the wheel turns causing a ticking sound that speeds up the faster you go. See if you can reproduce it with it jacked up...
