mazda 6 engine noise
i have a '54 mazda 6 2.0 tdiesel which has done 49000mls
when i accelerate, especially in 2nd and 3rd gear between 1500-3000 revs there is a strange sort of vibration/whirring noise from the engine which has started to get noisier in the last few days.
just wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this as it also needs a new gearbox as it 'jumps' out of 5th gear and i dont want to keep throwing money at it..
