Default mazda 6 atf flush heeellllpppp!

Hey guys I just new and have a question. I had a buddy mechanic do a transmission fluid flush on my 04 mazda 6 4cyl, but only 3l of fluid came out during the drain and about 2.7 went in. The level was perfect before the flush so it wasnt low. Manual says it should take 7.2l any ideas? By the way drove it for about 10 miles feels perfect and fluid is pink like bubble gum. Car has 72000km on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

That's probably correct as most of the fluid is in the torque converter, valve body, etc, and will not drain.
Often the manual will have 2 listings: Full flush (from a dry tranny) and maintenance flush, not unlike an oil change w and w/o filter. Check to see if yours has it listed like that.
