I’m trying to install a 2004 radio in a 2006 model and just learned that they may not be compatible? The previous radio had been yanked out and had its display connector broken and other parts. Someone have also rewired the previous radio unit to display the clock on the display. Nothing else.
The current display connector won’t fit the 2004 radio unit:
Am I out of luck or is there anyway to fix this? Which cable provides power for the radio unit by the way? The CD player works and changes discs.
