Default Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel automatic which has started to Kangaroo / misfire only when I lift

I have a Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel automatic which has started to Kangaroo / misfire only when I lift my foot of the accelerator, it doesn't do it all the time and only at low speed around 20 mph. Seems to happen one maybe twice per journey and unable to replicate the fault.

The car has only done 35,000 miles

There are no error codes and I have scanned the ECU using THinkDiag software and all modules report no errors.

The car runs well and no other problems, any ideas.

Thanks

When did it last go to Mazda for a software update?

When was the fuel filter last changed?

When did you last fill up with fuel?

Probably two years ago when it was still under warranty.

Fuel filter changed last year

Filled up last week even used the premium diesel and done some long journeys just in case its DPF related.

Fault has been on going for at least 12 months but with lock down haven't really used it much, decided now to see if i can fix it hence why posting .

To describe the fault in detail its like a learning driver trying master clutch control, kangaroos . My car is an automatic so its not me.

I'm not taking it to Mazda, that's an open cheque book, been there.

I'll wait to see if anyone else has had a similar issue.
