Default mass air flow problems Mazda 6 2.0 Diesel

Looking for advice with a mass air flow sensor problem i have.
This started a few weeks ago the car would intermittently run rough loose power and smoke badly, i scaned for codes and got P0104 Mass Air Flow Sensor A Circuit Intermittent.
I have fitted a new sensor OEM quality but still have the same problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I know its been some time since you posted this topic but I have the same issue with my Mazda for quite some time now and I could not find the cause. How did you fix yours?
I would greatly appreciate you response!
