LOL. I was taking a picture of my LED lights in the dome and this is what happened. It looks like my lights were shooting electricity. I thought it was funny.

very cool effect... i have never seen that before!

 

the reason the lighting looks like that is because your had your shutter speed too slow for use in the dark, which produces camera shake. usually this method of photography is used to create the illusion of motion. here are three examples of how it may be used in an artistic fashion. the first, colored picture is my friend, Alastiar, drumming with his band, Abulia, at a show. The second picture is a b&w self portrait of myself playing my drumset (notice the cymbals and my arms). The third picture is a b&w pan of my friend Swedish running with a vacuum cleaner at work.

Yeah true. But, if you look closely at the picture nothing is in motion. It is all still.

 

hmmm.... well you learn something new every day!

 

trust me dunn...its camera shake due to slow shutter speed. no matter how still you are, at a shutter speed 1/90th of a second or slower, no human hand can hold the camera perfectly still and will end up dragging the light around on the film.

 

Yeah ur probably right but it still makes out to a pretty cool picture. :-)
