my car was leaking water out of this hole thats near the intake manifold and I do not know if a hose or tube is suppose to be connected to it or covering it. It seems to only be dripping water when the A/C is running and when it turns off.
If anyone can please let me know if its suppose to just be like this or if something is suppose to be connected to it....thank you!

Long story short, what you're seeing is the water that's been extracted from the air entering the cabin of your car by your air conditioning system. The good news here is that the water is supposed to leak from your car, and that nothing is supposed to be connected to the point where it leaks out.

 

Yes. Much better dripping out than in.
However, I would think there should be a hose there to allow the water to drip out below all the cars components. I know mine has a hose attached to the firewall that goes all the way down to the bottom of the chassis.
From what I can see in your pictures, that looks like a nipple a hose would attach to. There is almost no pressure there short of gravity itself so they are usually just a "press-fit" connection, like the hoses that go to the washer jets for example (where there is actually some pressure.)

 

I just replaced a month ago regarding A/C hose by the warranty. The warranty is going to expire within 2 month. My mechanic told me the problem during 45000 miles maintenance.
If there were water on the ground when you park. The water maybe from A/C. The hose of A/C maybe also leak.

What year of your mazda6? Is v6 or 4cy?

 

2008 mazda 6 i sport ve, 4 cylinder. i only have 35k miles on it

 

When you replace the hose, make sure ask dealer to add R134a (A/C freon). This is also under warranty.

 

That should not be necessary in this case. The hose is question is the condensation drain hose from the cabin through the firewall and down to the ground.
