I am getting hids for my car and i want to change the low beams and the running lights (the lights that turn on when you turn the light switch up just 1 click. So which bulb types am i going to need for both of those to be changed? Also wanted to change the side marker lights to hid also, anybody know when i can pick up those bulbs?

 

The running lights are just 194's and for the low beams, you need H1. I suggest getting a 194 bulb that is color matched to the set of HIDs you buy. As far as side marker lights, I don't think you can change those to HIDs, but someone correct me if I am wrong . I am going to buy the hid kit at www.rpmstore.com but i see the h1 but i dont see the194's your talking about? Ive seen several cars that have the side marker light hid so i know it can be done, just wondering how.

 

Oops, I had a huge brain malfunction. The 194's are the parking lights inside the headlights, I am not sure which bulb is the one in the side marker lenses. It could also be 194's but I am not positive. A 194 is just a LED, which you can get at www.superbrightleds.com or www.autolumination.com (My recommedation if you need LEDs)

 

The side markers are 194 also.
