So im going to get HIDs for my car and im pretty sure i want the 6000k, but when purchasing them off sights they ask for bulb type? i have no clue what that means. For my mazda 6s what bulb type do i need? Also How do you install HIDs. Whats the process. Thanks

The blub type for the low beams for the 6 are H1 bulbs. As far as installing its pretty easy as long as you take off the front bumper andtake the headlights out to set the bulb in and to drill the hole for thegrommit for the new wires . Than you just tap into the healight wires to get power to turn them on !! I have the 6000k kit my self and love it ! Iinstall took about an hour .

mmmmm..first post!..i noticed your HID ?..yes you need to take H1's..as for installation, I just tried to help my friend install an H1 on his 04 6 but he wasnt really fond of taking out the bumper and possibly drilling holes..but just like adam stated, its an easy install..the 8k is what i like..its bright and it looks great!

Alright sounds good. So i also want to change my side marker lights to HID. ive seen a mazda with theHID on the side markers and loved it. Anyone know where i can get that from? Also what are the good brands to buy?
