Default Help With P0446/P2402

I have an 07 Mazda 6, automatic 4 cylinder with check engine light on. Took it to Advanced, and they gave me those 2 error codes. I've seen that it's the EVAP Pump. My only question is where is this pump located?

I had the P0446 code appear about 6 months ago for a day or 2 and then it went away, so I just let it go. Now with the other code appearing, they suggested that it's the pump that's going bad. I saw other posts saying it's under the back seat, and others saying you have to drop the gas tank. I'm hoping for the former over the later as it would save me a lot of money and be able to be done myself. I haven't taken it to a garage yet or ordered the part. Wanted to do some research on it before taking my next step.

Thanks for any help!

You'll have to approach it from underneath the car and remove the large charcoal canister first in order to access the Leak Detection Pump. They will be towards the rear side of the fuel tank and the canister connects to the pump via a rubber hose. Remove the right rear tire in order to give yourself some extra wiggle room. Take care removing the connectors for the plastic lines. There should be no fuel in any of the lines you need to remove but running the fuel level low before hand doesn't hurt.
