Smelt oil burning, removed engine cover to find this. Any advise?

Default put oil in it lately?

looks like someone putting oil in spilled some around the tube,i know ive done that,trying to be cool by not using a funnel. or the cap may not be tight.

I cleaned it all up and started, the oil is coming from the pot in front of the filler tube?

Default oil filler tube

sounds like the filler tube isnt pushed in good or the O ring is worn out.maybe even a cracked tube. just wiggle it out to see whats going on
