grounded throttle body
is all of your wiring ground properly? did you scratch some paint off where the wire-ends should be touching bare metal or did you buy a kit that you connect all of your wires to that device?
Remember, Mazda 6's are "drive by wire"
This means there is no cable that connects the gas pedal to the throttle body.
The throttle input works on a voltage reading, much like the mass air system used to measure the fuel curve measures the air and coverts the signal to a voltage.
Simply answer, it it probably not a good idea to ground your throttle body with a "drive by wire" system.
I installed a wire 3 years ago to proves that it is a MYTH about grounding the throttle body. If there is a problem, it is due to a connection issue at the connector or the connector mate on the throttle body itself. Attaching a ground lead is like placing a Band-Aid on a cut that needs stitches.
