Just picked up my car from the dealership from getting warranty work done. I've had my sport grille sitting at my house waiting to be put on. So, finally, it's on!

 

i like how it makes your car look visually nicer! i'm still kinda debating on if i should order one or not.

 

it looks real nice, was the mesh painted that color or did it come like that, and where did you get it?

Funny how I get love on the Mazda forum, and nothing but crap from my buddies from our local forum. Idiots. Haha. I was talking about how I want to get a CF hood for my car and they're like "CF doesn't look good on ANY midsize sedan." I'm like "Does it seem like I care what any of you think will look good on my car or not?!" Obviously, none of them have seen any modded 6's. I think they look amazing!

Anyhow, I got my grille from Ebay! It's the "JDM sports girlle". It's actually not mesh in the center of the grille. It's plastic...it came that way. But I had it painted. I actually wanted to leave the center just the black (like how it came) and just have the edges painted to match my car...but the guy painted the center part of it too. But either way, I still love it! I'm still waiting for my shark fin antenna and my polyurethane eyelids to come in. I also just ordered the chrome inside door handles. (not the handles themselves...the plastic part around it.) I got them for $2 off Ebay!

 

if you get CF, paint the edges but leave the center bare CF where it lines up with the new grille and follow the bodt line and hood creases.

nice....but it looks a little plain (and dangerously close to a honda!)...u gonna add anything to it?!?!? also, u should get those silver blinker bulbs...totally looks wicked sweet!!!! really cleans up the lens area....

Oh yes, I have a lot more planned for it. I am waiting for my polyurethane eyelids to come in, and my shark fin antenna. I want to get a CF hood, and the B-Magic kit. I will be doing bits and pieces here and there. It might take me a couple years to get it to how I want it, but that's okay. My fiance and I also thought it looked a little plain when we put the grille on. But oh well...we just have to wait for all my other stuff...and for cashflow.

What are silver blinker bulbs?

I want to get the angel eyes/halos for my foglight housing in the headlights...and also an HID kit.

 

I'm holding off on any more mods to my ride until next summer arrives... need to save up some money for when i move to florida for a few months for an internship (if that is where i go). but DDE halos, eyelids, tint, lowering kit area all coming whenever that money flow starts increasing again. oh, forgot to mention new rims! duh [sm=icon_beat.gif]
