Default Frigid Temperatures and Snow

Hi all. Here in Ohio it is -10 degrees. Car is running great. The car is fantastic in the snow. How is everyone's elses car doing in the cold temperatures. Californians need not apply. You bastards! Jk.

Cold as all hell in Michigan as well. Had to work on a frozen pipe in my house last night[:@]

Both my 3 and my 6 do fine in the snow (the 6 has snow tires and can go just about anywhere until the snow piles up deeper than the front fascia.) My 3 could use different tires, but I'll end up with the snow tires from my wife's car when we get something new (maybe a CX-9).

yeah I am having a little trouble moving in the snow. I have performance summer tires I am pretty sure thats what the problem is. Last year my car did alot better with the original tires. but besides that and a few other small things, I enjoy my car in the snow.

Yeah I have a few problems in the snow with the stock 17" michelins. Basically its just traction issues. btw, has anyone experienced frost covering the front of subwoofers? Last week after my soccer game it was pretty cold and I opened my trunk and one of my subs had frost on it, along with the aluminum part of the box.

chuckstang: Did you get the shift shock deal taken care of? It is a easy fix for Mazda. The only thing that sucks about the cold weather is I am only getting about 23mpg in the city right now. It has been
-10 degrees for a week now. I would like to go back to my 28-30mpg in the city.
