Hello! I have bought myself a AVH-5700DAB radio, and I´m now looking for a faceplate. I have heard that there is no European version of this, only a US version, is this true?

And is it stupid to buy a "fake" product from Hong kong on ebay, instead of buying metras?

That panel is the most expensive of all Mazda 6 panels, all because of the climate A/C, The whole panels is actually 1 large circuit board.

I gave up buy 1 for my 2006 Atenza & bought a mounting panel to replace the dash top storage-box & fitted my stereo up there.

 

Metra kit for 2005 -2008 Mazda 6.

It appears the kit is now made for both manual A/C & Climate A/C.

I'm going through the same thing, did you figure it out? The unit you're looking at only works for manual ac, you have climate control ac. I am about to order this, hopefully it works.

That dash top unit is what I ended up getting. Only thing is, on mine, there wasn't anything to secure the actual stereo to. Easy enough to sort out, & also the gap around the front was a bit too big for the stereo also.
