Hi there, I understand the issues around the dpf and the usual causes for flashing.
My 2.2 10 plate dpf only flashes when fuel is low, maybe 8th to quarter tank. Happened first a week ago, the light went went off and I didn't think anything more about it until it started flashing yesterday again. Once i filled the car it went off. Any ideas to why? It is due a service, its booked In just under a week. Its done 10k since last service at mazda.
I just thought its strange that it only flashes when the fuel is low and I can't find any other cases of this happening

 

Service interval is only 10,000kms, it will flash when it calculated the oil has come to the end of its life. I would recommend ( for the longevity of the engine) a oil & filter change asap, along with the compulsory oil data reset and a quick check for fault codes.
