double din dash kits?

Default double din dash kits?

are there any double din radio dash kits for the 04' 6's? i know there is the single din's from metra but it just looks like it leaves to much open space for my liking!

The ONLY dash kit available for the Mazda 6 is the single din Metra one.

ive been looking forthe same thing for my '03 6, and i still cant find anything

I made one from the metra kit to accomodate double din alpine multimedia station/Bluetooth/Hi-Speed ipod. Got rid of the ashtray and relocated the heat/ac buttons there:

and the lower console around the shifter...

then the whole thing complete!

Thats a pretty nice set up you got. I thought about doing the samething just to fit a lcd h.u. in there. Nicely done.

Thanks,it took about two weeks from start to finish,but couldn't be happier with the end result! I love it!
I also added an H.D. Radio tuner,PS2,etc. The possibilities are now limitless!
