Default Brake Shields

I have a 2004 Sport Wagon. I live on a gravel road and I am constantly getting gravel stuck between the brake shields and the rotors. By constantly I mean, clean out 1 stone and have another within 2 days of driving. I am going to remove the brake shields but haven’t been able to get it up on a jack yet. Anyone who is familiar with the brakes and shields, is this going to be an easy job or am I going have to remove this like ABS sensors and brake lines?

Remove the wheel,
remove the caliper & mounting bracket #4,
remove the dust cap #1,
remove the axle nut #2,
gently tap off the hub #7
unbolt & remove the stone guard #10
