Default Bose System

I have a great looking Mazda6 with the Bose system. My problem is I don't understand it. It has Autopilot which is supposed to increase the sound as noise increase in the car. It doesn't seem to do anything, I don't hear a difference with it turned on or off. I emailed bose, but they are giving me the run around. I asked maintenance dept at the dealer, they don't have a clue how it works. ??? Can someone explain this too me, I have other Bose equipment that sounds great but I'm not sure about the system in this car, it doesn't sound like any Bose I've heard. .

The system you are refering to is more of a pain than a useful thing anyways. Honestly, I'd just turn it off and for get about it. However the way it works is there are several sensitivity levels that will increase the volume more or less as the car's speed increases. But like I said, it just doesn't work very well, you are better off just adjusting the volume as needed on your own.
