Default aftermarket exhaust

Hey there, do I have to worry about an aftermarket exhaust throwing a CEL or just the possibility of a CAI doing that. I'm thinking about going with the magnaflow exhaust, self installed, and with Mazdaspeeds CAI and having them install that to minimize the chance. This would be for an 06 Mazda6s. Thanks again for your help and opinions.

I got magnaflow exhaust done on my mazda 6s and i dont get a cel. I dont think its possible with exhaust. If you are getting the mazdaspeed intake it shoulndt trow a cel but if it does dont worry because the intake has a warranty.

Thanks for the help. It looked like everything that I was reading would have indicated the CAI as the problem with CEL's not the exhaust. Thanks again.

catback exhaust wont throw a cel. the only thing i dont like about the magnaflow exhaust is the clamps that they use because they tend to leak.. and the fitment you can never get it centered right.. a muffler is always off chillin not ligned up with the notch of your car.

the magnaflow set isnt bad if your on a budget. i would recommend the injen exhaust its just designed better and made better.

A lot of people over at m6club got Kartboy hangers to fix the problem of lining them up right. Daishi, would you recommend getting the Injen, or getting the Mazdaspeed exhaust (groub buy deal right now till end up april) over at m6club?

the kartboy hangers arent going to help you lign the exhaust up better all it does is keep the exhaust from banging on the tow hook. if you can get the mazdaspeed exhaust for cheap from the group buy i would recommend going that route... the mazdaspeed exhaust from what i seen in pictures looks like its made well.. the injen would still be the better choice but if you can get it that much cheaper than i would say go for it..
