After a runaround with the local Mazda dealer, and $104 diagnosis fee, the dealer tells me without a question that my 03 Mazda 6 needs a purge valve. Not sure but at $30 it seems worthy of a replacement. Most of the threads I have looked at address the V6 version of this car. Can anyone tell me where this is located and what kind of job it is?? BTW I was not complaining about the stealership charging me for the diagnosis, they tried to convince me of the need for a brake job for $229 that was completely bogus. I pulled the calipers and there is at least half the pads left. Thanks for any help
