Default 30,000 Miles & Stong Anyone Have any problems

I have a 2003 6 and I have not had to do anything what so ever to my car except for the basic oil change and check up. My car is at 30,000 Miles and I was thinking about purchasing the extended warranty but not sure. My manufactures warranty will end at the end of the year and I only plan on keeping the car for maybe a year and a half then trading it in on a new mazda. I was also wondering what mileage yours cars are at and if you have had any problems.

I have an 06 Mazda 3i, i bought in september of 05 and now have a little over 10,000 miles. it has been to cali from az and to flagstaff a couple of times. No problems what so ever. I just do the regular maintanence thats required. I did purchase the extended warranty to 100k miles when i bought the car because of my high mileage driving.

I have a 2005 Mazda 6i 5-door. I love it. It has 24,700 miles on it I believe. I have an extended warranty that will go until 110k I believe. I almost always get it. One thing goes it is worth it. Should cover it for 5-6 years, I dont drive a whole lot. Just want it covered while I am financing it, and I am a full time student with limited funds.

I have an 04 Mazda 6s Hatch, it has 40010 miles on it. Yeah I do a lot of driving... I love the car! Only problems...at 28900miles I had the clutch replaced, not bad since they are only warrantied for 12k. Then at like 36k the main tranny seal blew, trashing the new clutch and some more stuff. They replaced the clutch, 4 seals, 3 forks...all in all it cost 4k...thank god for the extended warranty. Now its back in the shop because it was still leaking trany fluids and slipping out of first and getting stuck in reverse...two of the forks which were replaced. They are replaced the rest of the forks, the seals, the bell housing and maybe the gear discs...so lets see how it goes...but I love the car to death and having no regrets!!!!!

has anyone's Mazda 6 made it past 30,000 miles without blowing a clutch or transmission? It seem everyone on here who has a Mazda 6 has complained of the same issue. The transmission is not durable. Is this speculation unfounded? babyhuey you got a answer? I am losing my confidence in my car.

I pound on my wife's Mazda6 wagon and it has 32,000 trouble free miles (hopefully I didn't just jinx myself.)
